Jessie Shirley is currently the Assistant Superintendent of Grande Prairie and District Catholic Schools in Grande Prairie, Alberta, Canada. She has 25+ years experience as a teacher, school administrator, and district math lead. She sits on the Alberta Teachers’ Association Curriculum Committee as a representative of the College of Alberta School Superintendents. One of her passions is to discuss the art of pedagogy. Another is to engage with mathematics in a joyful and reflective way… and to invite others to do the same.
