Dr. Robert Mayes, is currently the Program Director for the EASE Program at the National Science Foundation (NSF). He received his B.S. and M.S. in Mathematics Secondary Education from Emporia State University and Ph.D. in Mathematics Education from Kansas State University. He taught mathematics at the high school, community college, and university levels. He has been the Director of four science and mathematics education institutes, and has expertise in interdisciplinary STEM education and quantitative reasoning.
