Dr. Joseph Bolz is a teacher at George Washington High School in Denver. He has 23 years of experience in the classroom. He has a doctorate in education (in Curriculum and Instruction) and is also a National Board Certified teacher. He is not only a member of NCTM where he serves on the Curriculum Resources Committee but serves as the Treasurer for his affiliate (Colorado Council for Teachers of Mathematics). In addition to being a teacher he is also an Instructional Partner - spending part of his day coaching other teachers - as well as the Department Chair for Mathematics. He is a father of three wonderful children, husband to an amazing high school English teacher, and loves staying active by traveling to the National Parks and spending time at the gym.
