NCTM is committed to providing a safe environment for all attendees and will be complying with all safety precautions specified in the venue, state, local government and CDC guidelines. We encourage attendees to take various precautions to keep our attendees and staff safe and comfortable, which include: 

  • Encouraging all attendees to wear masks (although not required) to fit their level of comfort 
  • Asking all attendees to wash their hands frequently, especially before and after meals 
  • Providing hand sanitizing stations throughout the event space
  • Asking any attendees with symptoms of COVID-19 to stay home and follow all recommendations for quarantine/isolation   
  • Asking any attendees who recently tested positive or were exposed to someone with COVID-19 to stay home and follow all recommendations for quarantine/isolation   
  • Closely monitoring travel guidelines outlined by the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). Please consult the CDC’s guidelines before traveling

Yes. Register a group by using the online group registration button or download the group form.

Yes. NCTM offers groups of five or more a significant discount. Each group registration must include a primary contact and separate email addresses for each attendee. Groups paying for their conference registration with a purchase order can register online and upload the purchase order form to expedite the process.

Individuals paying with a purchase order can register online and upload the purchase order form to expedite the process. Purchase order can also be mailed to NCTM Conference Registration, P.O. Box 844277, Dallas, TX 75284-4277 or faxed to 1 (888) 289-9844 (toll-free) / 1 (514) 289-9844 (international).

Student members attend NCTM Regional Conferences for free! Student membership is designed for those enrolled in an accredited college or university as a full-time student with an interest in mathematics education. Proof of student status such as registration, class schedule, professor verification, etc., is required. For more information visit NCTM membership

A certificate of attendance will be available to event attendees. It may be used to demonstrate attendance.

NCTM is committed to ensuring that our events are fully accessible to all persons. The Baltimore Convention Center provides access for individuals with disabilities in the following ways:

  • Sidewalk curb cuts provide easy access for wheelchair users to main lobby areas.
  • Wheelchair ramp located in the Charles Street Lobby.
  • Thresholds are level with floor at entrance doors.
  • Meeting room audio enhancements.
  • Exterior automatic sliding doors are located at each public lobby entrance - Pratt Street, Sharp Street, Charles Street, and the Mezzanine Level, Main Terrace.
  • Emergency systems provide emergency notice for the visually and hearing impaired.
  • There are amplified telephone handsets located in each of the permanent public telephone banks located throughout the center.
  • TDD and TDY-equipped telephones are located throughout the public areas of the facility.
  • Telephones in each telephone bank are installed at a height that accommodates persons in wheelchairs.
  • Elevators are located near escalators on each level, and are equipped with Braille indicators, chimes, and raised lettering, providing mobility for visually impaired as well as mobility impaired guests. In addition, meeting room signs have additional Braille text.
  • All restrooms are accessible for standard wheelchairs.
  • The elevator cabs provide information on the location of the phone and instructions on using the instruments
  • Visual line indicators (flashers) and amplified handsets are available to exhibitors and show management through the Center’s Telecommunications Department.

Due to the size and professional nature of the conference, the NCTM Regional Conference is not the most suitable event for child(ren). Exceptions are made for nursing mothers and their infants If you would like to bring your child(ren), please email [email protected] by November 2, 2022, and tell us their ages so that we can do our best to accommodate you. Please note that parents must accompany their children at all times and ensure their children adhere to all conference protocols for the venue. Due to safety, children under the age of 16 are not permitted in the Exhibit Hall.

Registration is available by mail, fax, or email. NCTM accepts Visa, MasterCard, American Express, checks, money orders, and purchase orders. All payments must be submitted in U.S. dollars and drawn on U.S. bank accounts, money orders, or credit cards. Credit card payments will be subject to the appropriate exchange rate.

Individual and group registration forms will be available soon and can be printed and mailed or faxed.

Cancellation/Refund Policy

  • Registrations in “pending” status will be cancelled 24 hours prior to the event without refund. 
  • Cancellation requests must be received in writing on or before November 2, 2022.
  • NCTM will issue a full refund minus a $50 cancellation fee per person for each individual or group registration. NCTM will charge a $25 cancellation fee per person for emeritus member registration. Individuals and groups paying with a purchase order are still responsible for the cancellation fee.
  • Workshops, MET donations and membership dues are non-refundable.
  • Refund requests will not be honored after November 2, 2022, even for no-shows.
  • Substitutions are allowed but must be received via email or letter prior to November 2, 2022. Substitutes must submit a letter explaining who they are substituting (and include registration number if possible). Nonmembers substituting for members will be charged the current nonmember registration rate. In addition, no discount will be given for members substituting for nonmembers.
  • Note that a group must contain at least 5 fully paid/non-cancelled/non-pending registrations to remain eligible for discounted pricing. If the confirmed group size drops below five, each remaining group participant will be changed to an individual and balance adjusted accordingly.
  • Refunds will be issued between eight and ten weeks after the Regional Conference. 

Name badges must be worn to gain entry to all meeting sessions. Your name badge should reflect what you want to be called, and attendees have the flexibility to modify their badge name and pronouns. Use your registration ID to log in and update your badge display information to modify your name badge. Pronouns are available for selection from a drop-down list. If your pronouns are unavailable for selection, please email [email protected] so that we can add them to the drop-down menu. To volunteer, please sign up using our  Volunteer Form. Both NCTM members and non-members may volunteer for this great networking opportunity. Non-member volunteers can register for the entire conference at the Essential Member rate. (A non-member full-time college student who volunteers a minimum of 4 hours may attend any session on the same day they volunteer.)

Individuals traveling from outside of the United States to attend a NCTM event may request a Letter of Invitation to the event. The letter may be used to support an individual's request for organizational or governmental clearance to attend the event.

Individuals requesting a Letter of Invitation to an NCTM event must be fully registered - including payment in full - for the NCTM event for which they are requesting an invitation. Individuals do not have to be a member of NCTM to request a Letter of Invitation.

A Letter of Invitation issued by NCTM will:

  • Be addressed directly to the individual requesting the invitation
  • Include the name, date, and location of the NCTM event
  • Indicate the individual's responsibility for all expenses related to his/her participation in the NCTM event (including registration, travel and accommodations)
  • Be signed by an authorized NCTM Representative
  • All letters of invitation will be sent via email. If you require a printed letter, please contact [email protected]. Additional fees may apply.

Member discounts are applied at registration. If registering by phone, you will need to supply a member number to receive the discount. The NCTM 2022 Regional Conference & Exposition in Baltimore will be held in person, November 30-December 2, at the Baltimore Convention Center. There is no online component for this event. 

For individuals who are unable to attend this event, please consider attending NCTM's upcoming virtual conference.

Dress for this event is business casual. Comfortable shoes are recommended.

A first aid station will be located at the Baltimore Convention Center and will be staffed during conference hours. Medical technicians will be available to assist with minor medical problems. However, if you have a medical emergency, please call 911.

This is a "paper-light" event. No program book will be distributed and there will be limited onsite handouts. Materials for education sessions and programming, including a daily schedule, will be available on the NCTM website for download in advance of the event. A fully searchable program is also available online and through the event mobile app
