Math + Language Teaching Strategies = Success!

Math is a rich, exciting language! Many of the strategies we use in language arts are extremely effective for teaching math. During this engaging session, we will explore how to use think-alouds, as well as effective strategies to help students to read and understand word problems. You will leave with practical ideas you can use to support and enhance student thinking.
