It’s summertime, time to sit back and unwind . . . with a few great problems! We’ll explore several problems from One Hundred Problems Involving the Number 100 that cover various topics and grade bands. But it’s the summer, so we’ll focus on having fun and talking math; you can wait till you get back from the beach to decide if you’ll use any of these problems in your classroom this fall.

Advocating for equitable mathematics instruction that advances learning opportunities for all students is essential, but where to start? In this workshop, we share the Proactive Coaching Framework—a tool that guides mathematics coaches’ and leaders’ goal setting in ways that advocate for research-informed practices and facilitate critical conversations about initiating, assessing, and sustaining change within schools.
