    It is December again, and time for everyone including those of us passionate about mathematics education to pause and reflect on all that has happened this year. What personal goals have you accomplished? What work is left to tackle? What goals are now the most important? What went well and what needs improvement?

    Yes, and it is time to remind people to donate to the Mathematics Education Trust!

    The MET Board as well reflects on what it has seen in mathematics education in 2017. We cheer the fact that we have been able to award funding to 29 types of grants for a bit over $150,000. These grants continue to impress us with their creativity and innovation. We certainly have an enjoyable but challenging job – funding the best of the best. Even with more than 30 grants targeting different levels and programs, we still feel the need to do more – to reach more donors, to help support more mathematics teachers, and to improve the learning of students everywhere!

    Yes, and it is time for donations to the Mathematics Education Trust!

    This year we were able to add three new joint grants that will have awardees selected in January. The Mary P. Dolciani Halloran Foundation joined NCTM to offer teams of K-8 educators funding for Designing Innovative Lessons and Activities for Mathematics Teaching (K–8). We collaborated with TODOS-Mathematics for All to provide Fostering Support of Mathematics Learning in Multilingual Classrooms (Pre-K-12). And the NCTM and NCSM collaboration is offering the Teacher-Leader Professional Learning Grant (Pre-K-12). 

    Still, we experience the need for even more resources. Yes, and it is time to ask for more resources for the Mathematics Education Trust!

    One of the best celebrations this year was the Lifetime Achievement Award Celebración at the annual meeting. We cheered the honoring of J. Michael Shaughnessy and Margaret J. (Peg) Kenney for their dedication. If only we could honor all those whose dedicated this year to improving teaching and learning mathematics.

    Yes, and it is time for all of us to support the Mathematics Education Trust!

    Due to COVID-19 Many of you around the world are having to stay at home. and E-learning is a boon to the education system during Covid-19 lockdown. Even I am learning new programming language ( Python) . so software companies can hire me as Python Developer
