Board with Math: Reaching the Underachieving
Let's take the students at the bottom that have become bored with math and give them a fun opportunity to catch up to their peers! Using the new interactive whiteboard by SMART, I plan on delivering differentiated dynamic lessons to my small group intervention classes, thus engaging them in the content and raising their interest in math. Students will learn through the Gradual Release Model to create their own dynamic lessons and present them to their peers using the SMART Notebook software and SMART Board. Students will be engaged in hands-on, technological, 21st Century learning. Students who are normally cast aside will be part of a unique community privileged to work on the most advanced technology in our building.
