An Out-of-Math Experience: Einstein, Relativity, and the Developmental Mathematics Student

Abstract:
The theory of relativity and some of the developmental mathematics involved. It furnishes motivational classroom material to use when discussing relative-motion problems, evaluating a radical expression, graphing with asymptotes, interpreting a graph, studying variation, and solving literal and radical equations.
