Technology Tips: Creating Three-Dimensional Scenes

Abstract:
This issue: introducing the free program, Persistence of Vision Raytracer. Teachers use POV-Ray to create three-dimensional scenes that help strengthen students' visualization of three-dimensional geometry and their use of formal geometric properties of the shapes formed. Technology Tips focus on how technology can aid teachers in using technology to enhance instruction, assessment, and the curriculum to help their students deepen conceptual knowledge.
