    Attendee Testimonials

Thank you to all the speakers for making this such a memorable and impactful experience for so many of your peers. Here are just a few comments attendees had:

It was a conference that was a long time coming. It helped teachers see connections between literacy and math.

Great synergy of thought and passion flows when teachers of different schools of thought engage in open discourse. English teachers learned from the mathematics perspective and vice-versa!

I loved the connection between the two content areas. I found it helpful to get ideas for supporting both reading and math at the same time.

I always learn a lot from the presenters and have tons of information to bring back. I also want to collaborate with literacy to help literacy teachers understand math better, to incorporate more reading and writing strategies into math, and to provide teachers and students with more coherence between content areas.

The sessions were great! I feel like I can implement several new ideas in my teaching this year. Other sessions validated what I’ve been incorporating into my teaching practice. Everyone I met was friendly and it was easy to share ideas.
