Grab a team of math educators and sign up for the newest NCTM grant! The Mary P. Dolciani Halloran Foundation has partnered with the Mathematics Education Trust to challenge and sponsor two teams of educators seeking the chance to meet and design, pilot, and advance activities and lessons to excite a new generation of mathematics students. Use your creative ideas and become an author!

Mary P. Dolciani was one of the most prolific writers in mathematics education and the fund set up by the family is now helping to energize mathematics educators to carry on the tradition of excellence in fostering the mathematics education of our elementary K–8 students.

Do you and your colleagues want to work together to build a collection of events to guide elementary students in exploring the pleasure of mathematics? Here is your chance. The grant requires a team representing two or more teachers from two or more elementary schools working with at least one higher-ed mathematics educator. So grab a team (the more the merrier) and check out this newest grant, read the guidelines, look at the rubric, and apply for a $5,000 grant that just might be one that gets renewed for two additional years!
