Marta Civil, Elizabeth Fennema, and Steven Leinwand
Congratulations to the 2021 NCTM Lifetime Achievement Award recipients! The Mathematics Education Trust (MET) has selected Marta Civil, Elizabeth Fennema, and Steven Leinwand as recipients of the NCTM Lifetime Achievement Award.
The award honors NCTM members who have exhibited a lifetime of achievement in mathematics education at the national level. All three will be recognized along with the 2020 NCTM Lifetime Achievement Recipients, Rita Janes, and Karen Karp during the Opening Session of the 2021 NCTM Annual Meeting and Exposition in Atlanta. Following the Opening Session, MET will be hosting a Celebration Party to honor and celebrate the recipients.
